About NBCC
The National Breast Cancer Coalition (NBCC) is dedicated to ending breast cancer through the power of action and advocacy.
We work to:
- Increase breast cancer research
- Improve access to high quality health care and breast cancer clinical trials for all women
- Expand the influence of breast cancer advocates wherever breast cancer decisions are made
Breast cancer is a political issue. Since its inception, NBCC has been holding policymakers accountable for how they address legislative and public policy priorities around breast cancer. Now, you can help us make breast cancer an issue that Presidential candidates talk about through the Breast Cancer Caucus.
NBCC has compiled each candidate's position on our key priorities and asked them to provide a short video. Now you can learn more about where they stand by watching the videos and reading the responses. Then sign up to stay informed so we can keep you up to date between now and the real election.

The road to the 2008 election has begun and soon we will have new leadership in office. The time is now to tell the candidates that breast cancer issues don't just matter to us but that we vote on these issues.
This year alone more than 240,000 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer and nearly 40,000 women will die from this disease. Women have a one in eight lifetime risk of being diagnosed with breast cancer. We still do not know what causes breast cancer, how to prevent it, or how to treat it effectively. We intend to change this and we will – with your help.
